Versions Affected: MacOS 14.0

Conditions:

After upgraded macOS to 14.0 (Sonoma) on existing systems or first install of MacENCx64 on a new mac running latest macOS.

Symptoms:

Upon application start the main chart view window will display either a single centered tile containing the base map picture or an installed chart picture.

All surrounding area will be the low level gray hatched grid.

Workaround:

Zoom in Scale to lower level: Approach (1:150,000) or lower (Harbor or Berthing). Zoom back out.

Full display as expected for the remainder of the session.

The problem will re-appear at each new session (every time you start up MacENCx64). Just do the zoom fix and you can proceed as normal.

We are exploring a fix for this issue and another we have seen in the Beta 2 version of Sonoma.
