New Features

• New and completely revamped US NOAA ENC chart management.
• Radically simplified compared to our old free chart manager (from three screens and 20 clicks to one screen and one click).
• Takes advantage of our NavStation Chart Account automatics.
• The entire US NOAA Chart set is now divided into the 9 US Coast Guard Districts on a live interactive map. Just click a region to turn it on and MacENCx64 downloads and installs automatically. • As always, the US NOAA Chart service is FREE.

Improvements:

• FIXED: MacENCx64 Crashes changing Low Light View on macOS Sonoma 14.3.1.

• Better clean up of old charts when automatic updates happen.

Deprecations:

• SailTimer sails into the sunset. We’ve removed the venerable SailTimer feature.
• While useful for calculating upwind tacks on a single leg (one waypoint to another) it was limited to only that and did not take into account any chart data. Which means it might recommend you tack into land. Land Ho! Oops.
• We’re rewriting nearly the whole of MacENC and have ideas for a much better feature in the near future.
