[Fixed 10.2.3] MacENCx64 doesn’t collect existing 3rd party ENC User permit upon upgrade to 10.2.2
Upgrade from any version to 10.2.2 fails to collect in-use 3rd Party ENC User Permit
Versions Affected: MacENCx64 v10.2.2
Conditions:
Any prior version where the user has an existing ENC User Permit created with the old method and has purchased charts installed.
Symptoms:
After upgrade to 10.2.2, previously purchased 3rd party charts will not display. Chart Manager -> ENC User Permit field presents the new [About 3rd Party Permits] button instead of displaying the already in use prior permit. Requesting a new 3rd Party permit via the button produces a new permit that does not match the original and charts will still not display.
Workaround:
Clean install to v10.1.1 (requires a help ticket and support instructions)
Resolution:
Fixed v10.2.3
